Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in carpentry, and renovations, capable of independently performing a full range of tasks to deliver high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all aspects of carpentry, including framing, installing doors and windows, building decks, and finish work.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.

Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ensuring safe and efficient work conditions.

Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.

Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations on the job site.

Mentor and guide less experienced team members, such as Carpenter's Helpers.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Proficiency in using a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with precision.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

In-depth knowledge of the Canadian construction industry, building codes, and safety standards.

Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various conditions.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
