We are currently recruiting for a

full-time Carpenter

in our Insurance Restoration Division. This position will be based out of the office in Bolton but will require travel in/around the GTA. The successful candidate would describe themselves as a

"Jack / Jill of All Trades".

, capable of working on a variety of finishing tasks while maintaining the highest standard of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform framing, finish carpentry, and trim work with precision. Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to complete projects to specification. Install, repair, and finish drywall, including taping, plastering, and patchwork. Carry out painting and surface preparation to ensure professional finishes. Prepare surfaces, set tiles, and repair grout or finishes as required. Cut and prepare openings in walls/floors for fixtures and fittings. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver excellent service. Ensure job sites are safe, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

4-6 years of work experience Valid G license and a clean driving record is required Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to meet physical demands of the role Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Able to deal with customers and clients in a respectful manner Ensure job sites are safe, organized and compliant with health and safety standards Access to own tools is an asset

Position Requirements

Availability Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Attending and actively participating in on-going training and safety certifications as needed and to make every effort to attempt to pass any exams that may be required
