Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in using power tools to complete projects efficiently. This role involves working on diverse construction tasks, including but not limited to cabinet installation, drywall work, and masonry. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform cabinet installation and ensure proper alignment and secure fittings. Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Execute drywall installation and repairs with precision. Engage in construction painting to enhance the aesthetics of completed projects. Lay tiles accurately for flooring or wall applications. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Restore existing structures as needed, ensuring durability and functionality. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of masonry techniques is a plus. Familiarity with drywall installation processes is essential. Experience in construction painting is highly desirable. Skills in tile laying will be considered an asset. Ability to read blueprints or schematics accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
