We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This role involves constructing, assembling, and fabricating structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
Build and assemble structures such as frameworks, walls, roofs, and cabinets according to specifications.
Lay tiles and perform construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects.
Install siding and drywall while ensuring proper insulation and finishing.
Form concrete structures by accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping materials as needed.
Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements and dimensions.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Experience
Proven experience in carpentry or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in tile laying, construction painting, siding installation, drywall application, concrete forming, assembling, fabricating, and roofing is highly desirable.
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting while managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
