Job Description

Responsibilities:

Follows a written scope and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, and material and tool requirements. Understand and follow local building codes and regulations at all times. Ensure all equipment, PPE, tools and material is in working order and on the truck before leaving the building. Ensure that all job related paperwork is completed. Be responsible for the finished product. General knowledge of the material and techniques used in general construction/home building. Be responsible for keeping the job site organized and clean at all times.

Skills/ Competencies Required:

Must have previous experience in the field Must lift heavy items of at least 50 lbs. on a routine basis. Be prepared to work in confined spaces or on scaffolding or platforms (providing you have proper training). Have basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing to remove/reset lights, connect switches, detach/reset sinks, toilets and appliances, etc. Annual WHMIS Certification is required. Working from Heights training is required. Emergency or Standard First Aid would be an asset. Hold a valid Driver's license and a clean driver's abstract Good communication skills both oral and written. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and team work. Ability to work independently. Self-motivated and self-directed. Demonstrated attention to detail. Good Time management. Willingness to learn new methods and techniques..

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
