Experienced at reading and interpreting building plans, drawings, and specifications.

Supervisory experience in construction/renovation projects.

Experienced in operating equipment including skid steer, telehandler and payloader.

Comfortable at physical activity in a project environment (both inside and outside) such as pushing and pulling, crouching, bending, reaching, as well as some climbing and working at heights.

Proficient in one or more of the following: Framing, insulating, drywalling, flooring (laminate, tile, hardwood)

You have reliable transportation to get to work on time.

Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Address:

30080 Hwy 216, Kleefeld, MB R0A 0V0 with occasional travel to our New Bothwell and St. Malo locations as required.

Pay Rate:

$23.36ph

: Mon-Fri, 7am starts

We are looking for a Project Carpenter to work on various residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and strong work ethic, works well both independently and in a team, and is confident in their construction abilities. You will be part of our team, where we pride ourselves on our friendly, relaxed, and collaborative work culture. This position will work close with another inhouse carpenter, supervisor and subtrades to handle renovations and construction from sheds to full multi-unit builds.

Job Duties and Responsibilities



Engage in new builds and renovations, both residential and commercial. Organize and prioritize work. Read and interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications. Complete work in a professional and timely fashion Supervise a helper to aid in completion of tasks. Organize equipment and building materials. Operate equipment including skid steer, telehandler and payloader.

Work Environment:



Physical activity in a project environment (both inside and outside) such as pushing and pulling, crouching, bending, reaching, as well as some climbing and working at heights.

Work on sites can be noisy, odorous, hot, humid, cold and/or dusty.

Occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 kg.

Required Knowledge Skills and Experience



Proficient in one or more of the following: Framing, insulating, drywalling, flooring (laminate, tile, hardwood)

Must have a valid driver's license.

Time management.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Punctual and reliable.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



College degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience (e.g. 5 years' work experience in a trade)

3 years of residential renovations or property maintenance experience

Supervisor/lead hand experience is an asset.
