Brief Description

We are looking to add another skilled and experienced Carpenter to our team at First Capital Construction. The position of Carpenter is a full time, year round position. Must have the ability to work independently or as part of team on residential and commercial projects.

Hours

FT (40+), Permanent - Monday to Friday

Tasks

New home construction Renovations and repairs to existing buildings Rough and finish carpentry Window and door installs Flooring installation Cabinet installation Drywall installation and repair experience an asset

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full time, year-round position Outdoor and indoor work sites Heavy lifting may be required

Wage will be based on experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Prior experience in construction, framing and installation of roof systems Can read and interpret construction plans including blueprints, layouts, technical details and drawings Has basic hand tools, tool belt and safety footwear Driver's License required
