Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in residential and commercial projects. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation processes, ensuring that all work is completed to specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Fabricate and assemble wooden frameworks for buildings, including door frames, window frames, and rafters. Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of roofing materials. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects efficiently. Apply caulking as needed to seal joints and gaps in structures. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project specifications. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficiency in using various hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, and drills. Experience with power tools including nail guns, sanders, and saws. Knowledge of construction painting techniques for finishing touches on carpentry work. Familiarity with CNC machinery for precise fabrication tasks is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Good physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.
