Located in the Southern Athabasca region, MEG's Christina Lake Project is a multi-phased project approximately 150 kilometers South of Fort McMurray in Northeast Alberta. Comprised of approximately 200 square kilometers of leases, this SAGD operation currently has regulatory approvals in place to produce approximately 210,000 bpd. All workers will be staying at the state-of-the-art Poplar Ridge Lodge, which boasts a gym, rec area, commissary, laundry facility, Wi-Fi, cable, custom sandwiches, as well as full breakfasts and dinners. Jardeg is recruiting Carpenter Journeyperson to join the team at MEG Energy Capital Projects on site near Conklin, Alberta. Temporary full-time positions. Embrace a well-balanced schedule, working 15 days on and 6-days off rotation, with each workday consisting of 11 hours. Drive-in/ drive-out to site with Travel Allowance provided.
Currently a $500 ($250 each way) Travel Allowance is offered with the requirement to drive to and from site each shift.
A Journeyperson carpenter is responsible for working with a team of carpenters on construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. This includes performing skilled carpentry work, as well as interpreting blueprints, managing materials, and maintaining safety standards.
