Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Cut, construct & install, wood structures such as cabinets, drawers, doors and other various items. Operate CNC machine, edge bander & other pieces of equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other departments (designers, painters, etc.) to ensure project timelines are met. Operate a forklift & be willing to obtain licence for such. Adhere to all safety regulations while performing heavy lifting and operating equipment on-site and off-site. Other ad hoc duties as required.

Skills

Proficiency in woodworking techniques and carpentry skills. Experience in general carpentry - preference given to those who have experience with kitchen cabinetmaking and related fields. Ability to cut & build structures with precision and a high level of accuracy. Familiarity with various hand tools used in carpentry work. Competence in operating power tools safely and effectively. Effective time management skills and experience creating cut lists and schedules for project planning. Physical capability for heavy lifting as required by the job demands.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed
