Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including installation, assembly, and finishing work. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints accurately. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, floors, and door frames. Assemble furniture and fixtures according to design specifications. Install drywall and perform finishing work including construction painting. Lay tiles and perform concrete forming as required for various projects. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Strong skills in installation, assembly, tile laying, drywall installation, construction painting, power tools operation, electrical work (if applicable), plumb work, and concrete forming. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job site locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Overtime Weekends as needed
