This is a full-time, on-site role for a

Carpenter

with proven skills in

residential framing and forming

. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing various wood and concrete formwork tasks on-site, ensuring precision, safety, and durability in all builds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction and work well both independently and within a team.

Carpenter - Key Responsibilities:

Perform wood framing for residential construction, including floors, walls, and roof systems Build and install concrete forms for foundations, footings, and slabs Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and layouts Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately to the required specifications Install doors, windows, sheathing, blocking, and bracing Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Ensure work is completed in accordance with building codes and company standards Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to meet project deadlines Maintain a clean and organized worksite and follow all safety regulations

Qualifications

Skilled in residential framing and concrete forming Proficiency with construction drawings and measuring tools Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code as it relates to residential framing Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical ability to lift materials and work in outdoor environments year-round Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across the GTA Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid) are considered an asset

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
