Job Overview:


Gunther Construction has been in the construction industry for over 50 years. We have a wide range of industrial and commercial experience, with a specialization in foundations and concrete projects. Currently, we are looking for a Carpenter Foreman. We offer a competitive wage based on experience.

Job Scope:



- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project success

- Read and interpret blueprints/drawings

- Lead and supervise a small crew

- Build custom wood concrete forms

- Preparing for and pouring concrete

- Working with cementitious and epoxy grout

Requirements:



- Proven experience as a Foreman or similar role in the construction industry

- Valid driver's license

- Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

- Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety standards

- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team

- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with various parties

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 - 50 per week

Experience:

Concrete: 5 years (preferred) construction: 10 years (preferred) formwork: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (required) CSTS 2020 (required)
Work Location: In person
