We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction techniques and the ability to work with various materials. This role involves working on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, and requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety.
Duties
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Perform roofing tasks, including framing and installing roof structures.
Fabricate custom pieces as required for specific projects.
Work with masonry materials for building foundations or walls as needed.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and in accordance with building codes.
Assist in concrete forming for foundations or other structures.
Lift heavy materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.
Skills
Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
Strong experience using hand tools and power tools related to carpentry.
Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials.
Familiarity with CNC machinery for precision fabrication tasks is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
Experience with masonry work is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Ability to plumb structures accurately during construction processes.
Knowledge of concrete forming techniques is advantageous.
