Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for building and construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Build frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames. Install flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, or tile. Fabricate wooden structures according to design specifications. Perform concrete forming for foundations or other structural elements. Conduct electrical installations as needed for various projects. Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics. Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques. Ability to build structures with precision and attention to detail. Experience in plumbing installations is a plus. Familiarity with flooring installation methods. Skilled in fabricating custom woodwork or cabinetry. Knowledge of concrete forming processes is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
