What you will do?
Perform rough and finished carpentry work, including fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding, hardware,
Repair and refinish furniture
Perform finished carpentry for cabinets and other items
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans to complete work accurately.
Carry out general maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, painting, ceiling work, window/door installation,
Complete preventative maintenance tasks and keep accurate records.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies, including occasional after-hours calls.
Maintain positive client and tenant relations by providing professional, courteous, and efficient service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Carpenter Journeyman certificate
.
Minimum
4 years' experience
in facility operations or carpentry/maintenance.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment under pressure, and solve problems quickly.
Ability to read and apply technical plans.
Physically fit: able to crouch, kneel, lift 25+ kg, and perform hands-on tasks for extended periods.
Must own a full set of carpentry tools (e.g., belt sander, hammer drill, table saw, skill saw).
