Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Journeyman Carpenter

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, finishing, and general construction. You will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with our team to ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform all phases of carpentry, including framing, finishing, cabinetry, trim, and general woodworking. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure work meets building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades. Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar construction role. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Physical strength and stamina for lifting, standing, and working in various conditions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection) are an asset.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday. Occasional weekends or evenings may be required depending on project needs.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
