The Opportunity
Deveraux Developments is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our expanding team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing various interior elements in our multi family residential properties, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. What you bring...
A minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience
Experience with wood framing is required
Concrete experience is an asset
Zoom Boom or Skid Steer experience is an asset
Preferred Journeyman Certification or Red Seal Status, or working towards
A valid Driver's License
Willing to work weekends and overtime
Be physically fit for demanding nature of job
Strong attention to detail with ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision
The ability to direct/train and work alongside a helper or apprentice
Strong organizational and effective time management skills
Able to safely operate relevant machinery and equipment
First Aid qualification is an asset
You will...
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Accurately record and maintain relevant paperwork
Ensure work meets quality control standards
Participate in a safe work culture
Report concerns and safety hazards to supervisor in a timely manner
Comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Deveraux Development
Perform other related duties assigned by the Superintendent
