As the Apprentice Carpenter you are expected to be engaged in our safety program, executing work in a safe manner, in adherence with CANA policies and all applicable code regulations and the Act.


The work requires commuting to and from the job site daily.

The position requires physically demanding motions and tasks.

Candidates are required to be in good physical condition, fit for work and prepared to work on project sites outside in all seasons and weather.

YOU WILL

Be open to learning, work with Carpenters and other staff on site to facilitate an effective education for yourself. + Stop and ask questions if unsure. Take time to learn how to use hand and power tools Become competent:

+ In the general construction process + In reading and understanding specs and drawings
+ With layout and be able to use a builder's level.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.

YOU WILL NEED

Registered Carpentry Apprentice in Alberta

Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of general math


Demonstrate pride in work with attention to detail.
