Responsibilities
Follow direction from the lead hand or foreman
Assist with framing, cladding, and assembly of structural components
Perform heavy lifting and use power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean, organized site and equipment trailers
Work with a variety of materials including wood, metal, and concrete
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard
Bring a positive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn every day
Qualifications
1-2 years of carpentry or framing experience preferred
Physically able to lift heavy objects and perform labour-intensive tasks
Basic knowledge of power tools and their safe operation
Experience with metal cladding is an asset (training available)
Comfort working around heavy equipment is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Punctual, reliable, and dependable team player
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
Must be able to occasionally travel out of town Monday-Friday (hotel and LOA provided); daily transportation to our SE Calgary meeting point
Weekends as required
