Cargo Agent

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to Transport Canada Regulations Respond to cargo inquiries Provide to cargo inquiries Provide freight quotes Accept small freight, issuing waybills and handling cargo Provide internal and external customer support Manage cargo supplies and inventory Process cargo for shipping based on customer needs Perform general office duties as required Operate forklift Operate delivery van Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in providing customer service in a fast-paced environment; Must possess exceptional customer service skills; Must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent problem solving skills as this position requires on the spot decision making; Must be able to work independently and in a team environment; Must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct. Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
