CarePro Home Care Services is currently seeking Caregivers to join our team of committed professionals who show compassion, trust and respect for the people we support. As a caregiver, you will provide on-site support services to people with a disability or illness in their home, and will be responsible for maintaining the safety and dignity of all those you support. Our caregivers are vital members of our team, and the successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine desire to help people and an ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals. As a Caregiver, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients in the community. Responsibilities:

• \xc2\xb7 Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• \xc2\xb7 Perform homemaking tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• \xc2\xb7 Accompany clients to appointments and community activities
• \xc2\xb7 Monitor and report changes in client\'s health and well-being
• \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
• \xc2\xb7 Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for clients and yourself
• \xc2\xb7 Complete other tasks as required

Expected Requirements:

• \xc2\xb7 Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• \xc2\xb7 First Aid Certificate
• \xc2\xb7 Reliable mode of transportation
• \xc2\xb7 Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program or equivalent education and experience
• \xc2\xb7 TLR (Transferring, Lifting, Repositioning) Certificate

Preferred Requirements:

• \xc2\xb7 Dementia care training and experience is preferred
• \xc2\xb7 Good communication and interpersonal skills
• \xc2\xb7 Six (6) months of relevant work experience
• \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• \xc2\xb7 Proof of full and current COVID-19 vaccination
