Job Description
We are recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist our female employer who has a brain injury and right side Hemiplegia with all activities of daily living. The employer enjoys going outdoors to walk the dogs, and adaptive biking. She also makes educational booklets for children in the area.
The ideal candidate will be okay with dogs, flexible, punctual, and willing to accommodate increasing hours overtime.
Potential start date: November 1st, but may not be until November 15th
Location:
Chilliwack, BC (Yarrow Community School)
Shifts and Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays 9:00am to 12:00pm Hours will be increased overtime
Compensation
$25.00 an hour
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Personal care such as toileting, grooming, and dressing Sara steady transfers Meal preparation Light housekeeping duties Assistance with hobby tasks (Subject to change)
Qualifications:
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with 3 doses
required
Recent flu shotrequired
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehiclerequired
Caregiving or Nursing experiencepreferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
