Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations Support residents with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with patient observation to identify changes in health or behavior Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely for resident transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Follow care plans meticulously to ensure personalized resident care Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to coordinate effective care

Skills

Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient monitoring, Alzheimer's/dementia/memory care, and hospice or palliative care practices Ability to assist with complex needs such as working with people with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure resident confidentiality and privacy Strong observational skills for patient safety and health status updates Compassionate communication skills tailored to seniors or individuals with cognitive impairments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required Experience in medication administration and implementing care plans is preferred Flexibility to work various shifts depending on facility needs
