Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to an individual in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for an individual with a disability by offering personal care, companionship, and support in their daily activities. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a family home.

Duties

Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Administer medication as prescribed and assist with medication reminders. Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary Collaborate with Employer to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Skills

Ability to perform moderate lifting safely and effectively when assisting client. Proficient in meal preparation that meets dietary restrictions or preferences of client. Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with client and their family. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring quality care. Requirements

A vulnerable sector check valid drivers licence (is a plus but not necessary)
