Job Summary - Caregiver willing to travel to Irricana

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable

Caregiver

to provide personalized care and support for a client living with early onset dementia in a private home in Irricana. This role is ideal for someone who values empathy, dignity, and meaningful connection while helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.

Duties

As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being Helping with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring health conditions Supporting clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment Assisting individuals with disabilities in daily tasks and activities Running errands, shopping, outings with the client as needed Engaging clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in client conditions

Qualifications

Ideal candidates for the Caregiver position will possess:

Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or community care/home care. Knowledge of senior care practices and dementia care techniques A background in caregiving or home care services is preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support Ability to perform cleaning tasks as needed to maintain a hygienic environment Willingness to undergo any necessary training related to caregiving duties Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to and from Irricana

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
