What We're Looking For

Health Care Aide Certificate (or equivalent recognized in Alberta)(foreign-trained nurse or nursing student may qualify) Active Alberta HCA Directory number Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (within 6 months) Proof of negative TB test CPR & First Aid Certification Reliable vehicle & valid driver's license Strong communication skills (English required; additional languages an asset) Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg) Access to mobile phone and internet Strong verbal and written English; other languages an asset Compassion, reliability, and professionalism under pressure

Your Role With Clients

Provide personal care and hygiene (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing) Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercises Support with meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship Document and report changes in condition Promote safety, independence, and dignity at all times Provide companionship and emotional support Medication assistance and reminders Accompany clients on outings, errands, or appointments Follow care plans, document, and report changes
