RAPS is Seeking a Caregiver to Assist an Individual with Parkinson's (A42)

Location: Southwest Edmonton (Snow Valley area)

Days: 1 shift per week, flexible with the day

Hours: 12-hour shift (times to be determined with employer directly)

: Duties include but are not limited to manual transfer using a transfer belt, personal care (bathing, dressing and toileting) ,catheter care, medication administration through G-Tube, suppositories, feeding assistance through G-Tube, manual range of motion and physical activities, checking vitals, light housekeeping, laundry and companionship.

Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a clear criminal record check containing the vulnerable sector, have the Health Care aide certificate with experience working with high complex needs clients and be a non-smoker. Having first aid/ CPR is considered an asset.

The ideal candidate will be positive and compassionate and a self-starter.

Rate of Pay: $23/ hour
