Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced administrative professional to join our team for 0.8 - full time coverage for a maternity leave. As an administrative professional at 220 Main Collaborative, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our healthcare facility and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care. With an anticipated start date of April 22nd 2025, and end date of May 30th, 2026. Compensation will be based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide administrative support to various providers within 220 Main Collaborative, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. Act as the primary point of contact for communication via telephone and in person to patients and providers. Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from patients, staff, and providers, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills. Utilize computer software and office equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment. Adhere to confidentiality of medical office practices.

You excel in a collaborative work environment, readily offering support to colleagues and taking a proactive approach. Proficient in Microsoft programs like Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, or similar office software, your adeptness with these tools is essential to your role. You thrive in autonomous work settings, adeptly managing tasks in fast-paced, challenging environments. You possess a keen eye for detail and excel in building and sustaining positive working relationships, fostering effective collaboration. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively round out your experience.

Qualifications and Experience



Grade 12 plus one year of related clerical experience or graduate of a recognized one-year office administration/secretarial/business program or equivalent education (ex: University degree) Medical terminology course considered an asset Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or similar setting considered a strong asset Demonstrated experience in electronic medical records (EMR) considered an asset
