Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to perform various tasks that promote independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning duties. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Requirements

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia care and hospice care is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Ability to perform caregiving tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and medication administration. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for this role. Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting as required by client needs. A valid certification in caregiving or related field is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
