To support us on our journey, Sinai Health System is looking for a Cardiology Technician to support our Ambulatory Cardiology \xe2\x80\x93 ECG at our Mount Sinai Hospital Campus. The successful applicant must be a team player and be open to new and innovative ways of providing the best care and experience for our patients and referring practices. The Cardiology Technician will be part of the Cardiology technical staff. The employee will function in any of the following four (4) distinct job assignments with their respective responsibilities based on the coverage required:

• Inpatient and outpatient Electrocardiography (ECG)
• Holter Monitor Recording
• Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
• Exercise Stress Testing:
  • Graded exercise test (GXT)
  • GXTCardiolite
  • PersantineCardiolite
  • Dobutamine Stress Echo (DSE)
  • GXT-ECHO

• Successful completion of a diploma in Cardiology Technologist Program from an accredited educational institution.
• Current certificate of registration, in good standing from the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists/Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists required.
• BCLS provider certification required.
• Minimum three years related hospital experience.
• Ability to operate/maintain equipment used for cardiac diagnostic testing.
• Good working knowledge of Philip\xe2\x80\x99s ECG system required.an asset
• Good working knowledge of GE Case stress system- asset
• IV Certification an asset.
• Demonstrated superior customer service and teamwork skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to listen and take direction effectively.
• Ability to prioritize a busy daily workload and demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
• Effective computer knowledge is preferred.
• Able to perform advanced troubleshooting skills and preventative maintenance.
• Understanding of the importance of and adherence to infection control procedures.
• Ability to maintain patient record including filing and retrieval.
• Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history.
