Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of patients. Duties

Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician orders, ensuring accurate imaging and documentation. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination. Utilize ultrasound equipment effectively to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Maintain accurate records of patient information and examination results in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans. Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques to enhance diagnostic capabilities. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures during all examinations.

Skills

Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to ultrasound procedures and patient care. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting imaging results accurately.

Pay: $31.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
