Now, we're looking for a

Carbody Structure Designer

to join our team in St-Bruno-de-Montarville. If you're passionate about mechanical design, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to make a real impact--you might be the one we're looking for.



Your future role



As a Designer, you'll be at the carbody structure development for a major project. You'll ensure design coherence, align with best practices and architectural guidelines, and be a key play for the successful delivery of high-quality, on-time designs. You'll collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, suppliers, industrialisation, and project management team to bring innovative rail vehicles to life.



You'll specifically take care of


Supporting the CBS MLE (CarBody Shell Mechanical Lead Engineer) & Design lead, in planning your job, coordinating and reporting on design activities and related deliverables Designing products aligned with project, platform and industrial requirements Share the progression of the CBS detail design and space allocations, and stress engineers Designing CBS general concepts and space allocations during the project launch phase

Ensuring project Mechanical Domain activities comply with QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) commitments Guaranteeing product performance, manufacturability, serviceability and testability Supporting Sourcing, Industrialization and Manufacturing teams during Production ramp-up Defining and implementing mitigation plans Contributing to the continuous improvement of the CBS domain

Mechanical Engineering Degree or technical degree with pertinent experience Proficiency in mechanical design using Catia V5 or equivalent Familiarity with welded structures and geometric tolerancing Exposure to manufacturing environments Strong problem-solving and computer skills Proficiency in both French and English Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
