We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Car Salesperson to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in building customer relationships, showcasing vehicles, and closing sales. A background in dealership or retail sales, along with multilingual abilities, will be highly valued. The Car Salesperson will play a key role in expanding our customer base and increasing sales volume through effective outreach and personalized service.
Duties
Engage with potential customers through outside sales efforts, including community events and B2B networking, to generate leads and expand the sales pipeline
Conduct product demonstrations of new and pre-owned vehicles, highlighting features and benefits tailored to customer needs
Negotiate terms, pricing, and financing options to close deals efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
Support marketing initiatives by promoting special offers and new inventory through various channels
Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to maximize dealership revenue
Manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously while providing exceptional customer service
Maintain organized records of sales activities, follow-ups, and client interactions using CRM tools
Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure smooth transaction processes from initial contact to final delivery
Skills
Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or retail sales within the automotive industry or related fields
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-end sales effectively
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening capabilities
Multilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish or other languages, to serve diverse customer bases
Demonstrated ability to manage a robust sales pipeline and develop strategic sales plans
Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships
Organizational skills for managing multiple prospects and follow-up activities efficiently
Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to automotive sales environments
Familiarity with sales management tools and CRM software is preferred
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced dealership setting
