The Team

Nasdaq's Investor Engagement & Global Perception team is a global group of consultative analysts focused on helping companies execute on value-enhancing strategies. Engagements include supporting companies with identifying untapped pockets of long-term capital, enhancing investor outreach strategies, quantifying the effectiveness of their IR programs and garnering market sentiment to refine messaging strategies and elevate their story.

A typical day will include

• Advising public company investor relations and management teams on investor outreach strategies and execution (consult on conferences, NDRs and direct outreach, PMs and analysts for company engagement)
• Leverage sector knowledge and Nasdaq proprietary data to create value-added client deliverables
• Craft presentation materials for client engagements
• Navigating a dynamic workflow: spending time in excel models one minute, then shifting to a call to advise a public company the next minute
• Recognizing shifts in company profiles and aligning with evolving strategic investor relations goals
• Garnering market sentiment and translating into actionable insights (buy-side/sell-side interviews, transcript analytics)

Desired skills include

• Comfort in a client-facing role with excellent communication skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships
• Passion for problem-solving and expanding one's skillset
• Very strong quantitative skills, exceptional use of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint required
• Highly organized, keen attention to detail, excellent time management and an ability to juggle multiple projects
• Solid understanding of and interest in the capital markets
• Comfort balancing a number of concurrent data analyses

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in the capital markets. Buy or sell-side experience in Technology/Industrials/Energy is a plus.
