Now Hiring: Canvas Product Fitter

Lavigne's Canvas - 102 Booth Rd, North Bay, ON

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Canvas Product Fitter to join our growing team!

About the Role:

As a Canvas Product Fitter, you'll help fabricate and install premium marine and custom canvas products -- including window panels, covers, tops, and enclosures. You'll work both in-shop and occasionally on-site to ensure precision fit and high-quality installations.

Responsibilities:

Fit and install custom canvas goods (boat tops, covers, window panels, etc.) Assist with wood working, frame bending, and basic metal work Measure and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness Support production team with general shop tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Experience in canvas, upholstery, marine, or construction trades is an asset Comfortable using hand and power tools Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Position Details:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Wages based on experience Benefits available after probation period
