Job description

Select Cannabis is currently looking for a passionate cannabis professional to join our 97 Street (Rosslyn) location team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for cannabis and wants to expand their cannabis knowledge. Select Cannabis is currently looking for a part-time sales associate (Budtender) for evening and weekend shifts.

Select Cannabis is a family owned and operated cannabis retailer located in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Greeting customers with a positive attitude and assisting customers with the selection of products. Must be passionate/knowledgeable with cannabis products and accessories or willing to learn. Perform all duties within the governing rules of AGLC and store policies. Stay up to date with the newest products. Perform store duties such as operating the store POS (Point of Sale), cash handling, tracking inventory, cleanup and other store tasks. Must be able to work alone at times and with a team. Expected to come in on shifts on time.
Job Requirements:

AGLC SellSafe & Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW) Friendly, approachable, and helpful Previous cannabis retail experience is an asset but it is not necessary 18+ years old 1+ years of experience in a retail environment. Not required but preferred Able to work with team members and alone at times

Availability:

Weekends Evening Shifts 4- 8 Hour Shifts
Job Type: Part-time, Casual, Hours Range between 8-24 per week

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
