Western Cannabis is expanding their cultivation operations and is looking to hire 2 full time Grow Associates to join their growing team to help keep up with the high demand!

Description:

Working closely under the direction of the Director of Plant Sciences, Area Manger, and QA department, the Grow Associates are responsible for, but not limited to, the maintenance/cleanliness of the grow area, along with assisting the Grow Team with cultivation and maintenance of Cannabis plants.

As a full time employee, your hours of employment would consist of five 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to maintain compliance with Western Cannabis and Health Canada regulations Daily cleaning and sanitization duties to maintain a clean and organized work/grow environment Assist in the cultivation and maintenance of cannabis plants throughout their lifecycle Perform tasks such as pruning, transplanting, and harvesting plants Completing daily records and documents Participate in regular training sessions

Candidate Profile:

MUST BE RELIABLE

No cannabis experience necessary High School Diploma or higher Be physically able to perform the duties of the position; including standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50lbs), and sitting on a regular basis Must be ok working in an environment that is bright, loud, and aromatic. Meticulous attention to detail Takes initiative and is a self starter Ability to work independently and safely in a group environment Must have access to reliable transportation Must be able to pass a criminal background check
All employees must be 19+

Job Type: Full-time
