Job Summary

As a

Cannabis Cultivation Assistant

, you will be an integral part of our cultivation team, performing the hands-on, physical tasks that are vital to our operations. You'll contribute directly to the health of our plants and the quality of our product, working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

Perform physically demanding cultivation tasks, including

sanitation

,

de-leafing

,

trimming

, and

harvesting

in an efficient and professional manner. Maintain a high standard of

cleanliness and sanitation

by thoroughly cleaning grow rooms, irrigation equipment, tools, and workstations. Assist with crop health monitoring, promptly reporting any signs of pests, diseases, or deficiencies. Safely handle and mix concentrated materials, such as cleaning agents and nutrient solutions, while following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals.

Requirements:

Local to the Edmonton area. Comfortable working in warm and humid cultivation spaces with bright lights, while wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided (including but not limited to sanitary clothing covers, gloves, mask, respirator, and/or eye protection) Capable of performing physical activities and/or repetitive movements throughout shifts. Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs (22kg). Comfortable with squatting, bending, and kneeling while utilizing tools and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks. Fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with proof of vaccination.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
