Cultivation Labourers

What You'll Do:

As a Cultivation Labourer, you'll be at the heart of our cannabis cultivation process, your responsibilities will include:

Cannabis cultivation tasks, such as watering, trimming, de-leafing, and harvesting, with efficiency and care. Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our grow rooms, irrigation equipment, tools, and workstations - a task that demands careful attention to detail and consistent physical effort. Assisting in the implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) practices to foster the optimal well-being of our cannabis plants. Safely handling and applying concentrated materials, including cleaning agents and other essential horticultural inputs. Collaborating with a diverse team, contributing to a supportive and team-oriented environment focused on producing top-quality cannabis.

A genuine passion for horticulture, plants, or agriculture, with a strong desire to contribute to the thriving cannabis industry. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of plant care and cultivation. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a demanding environment. A strong eagerness to learn and expand their knowledge, embracing every opportunity for growth within the cannabis cultivation space.

Requirements:

Local to the Edmonton area. Comfortable working in warm and humid cultivation spaces with bright lights, while wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided (including but not limited to sanitary clothing covers, gloves, mask, respirator, and/or eye protection) Capable of performing physical activities and/or repetitive movements throughout shifts. Comfortable with squatting, bending, and kneeling while utilizing tools and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks. Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs (22kg). Fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with proof of vaccination
