The purpose of this job is to assist customers in selecting the right cannabis strain based on the customers preferences. Budtenders must be willing to learn and adapt, as the industry is everchanging! Must be able to operate Point-Of-Sale devices such as tablets and debit/credit card machines, make accurate change for customer purchases, record purchases for internal accounting purposes, and make recommendations to customers about products and accessories within their knowledge base. Responsibilities:
  • Providing a warm welcome to each customer.
  • Familiarize yourself with the retail store, products and recommend items that are best suited to the customer.
  • Answer any questions about the products, dosage and effects of each strain of cannabis. (Cannabis Experience preffered but not required)
  • NO MEDICAL RECOMENDATIONS. (We are recreational, not medical)
  • High attention to detail. Daily cashouts(basic math), Maintaining menu accuracy.
  • Light cleaning duties. Overall tidiness expected.
  • Following ALL AGLC/ Federal guidelines and laws reguarding legalized cannabis.
  • Must have valid QCW License AND Cannabis Sellsafe
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 0-35 per week Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Holidays
  • Weekend availability
Licence/Certification:
  • QCW License And Cannabis Sellsafe. (required)
Work Location: One location
