Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Roasted Nut Vendor to join our team. This role involves preparing and selling fresh roasted nuts from a street cart. If you enjoy working outdoors, engaging with people, and bringing a classic street-food vibe to the community, this job is for you!
Responsibilities:
Roast and prepare candied nuts (training provided)
Operate and maintain a clean and safe street cart
Safely handle propane/gas equipment for roasting
Provide excellent customer service and handle transactions (cash/card)
Restock supplies and keep the cart organized
Requirements:
Criminal Record Check required
Valid FoodSafe Level 1 (or equivalent food safety certification)
Comfortable operating a street food cart, including safe use of propane/gas equipment
Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in different weather
Strong communication skills and reliable attendance
Prior food service or vendor experience is an asset (but training will be provided)
