Your future role on our team




You'll join our Mechanical team specializing in explosive dust management, dust collection and industrial ventilation. In this role, you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of situations in which to develop your technical and professional skills. You'll be involved in projects dealing with dust management and associated risks, including risk analysis, dust collection systems and fire protection in the heavy industry sector.


As an engineer, you'll be involved in all phases of projects, including risk analysis, engineering, technological choices and solution implementation. You'll help identify business opportunities and prepare proposals in a variety of industrial sectors, such as wood, mining, energy and heavy industry. As you progress, you'll start to take on technical and project management responsibilities and work to build lasting relationships with our clients.

Lead and participate in risk analyses (DHA, HAZID, HAZOP) Help write technical reports Lead and participate in designing plans, details and specifications based on guidelines from a senior engineer Provide recommendations on establishing standards and other practical applications Assist more experienced personnel with the technical aspects of complex tasks Coordinate the work of drafters or other team members Make technical choices in establishing designs, provide recommendations and make important decisions on highly technical and complex issues Perform technical information surveys Supervise contractors on site Participate in onsite technical audits Help BBA develop its dust management expertise

Summary of job requirements





Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering Member of the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both English and French Available for short- and medium-term trips outside the office Relevant experience in project management, cost estimates, technical report writing, and troubleshooting Asset: good knowledge of NFPA, ATEX, CSA, IEC and CNPI standards Asset: relevant experience in the industrial sector Asset: ASP Construction card
