Description: Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Digital Media Designer will work with the Communications and the Fundraising and Donor Team to create visual promotions and updates to the digital media library for promotional purposes.

Hours of Work: Full-time, 32 hours per week, as scheduled. Primarily weekdays although hours can change based on program needs. This position is a temporary contract, ending after 8 weeks (subject to approval).

Duties for this position include:

• Visit Indwell programs and offices and capture images to use for promotional materials.
• Create and edit videos for use in promotional materials and social media.
• Update and add digital media images and videos to the media asset library
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements:

• Committed to upholding and modeling the standards set out in the organization\xe2\x80\x99s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Code of Conduct and other operating standards and policies.
• Ability to work independently, be flexible, organized, responsible, and take initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A creative and critical eye.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with WordPress and a general knowledge of Content Management Systems and web publishing.
• The candidate will be expected to work remotely most days. As such, access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection is required.

Remuneration: $16.50/hour; hours and position length subject to approval of Service Canada \xe2\x80\x93 Canada Summer Jobs.

Education/Experience: University or College Degree (or working towards) in Communication and Digital Media preferred.
