Job Description

Join the Communications team trusted with building and protecting the reputation of a leading global automaker and mobility provider. At Stellantis, we are looking for a creative, passionate and energetic product communications professional to support media relations activities, including managing the press fleet, building awareness, protecting the reputation and creating positive impressions for the assigned brands in Canada.



You will work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across the Company with key subject matter experts to effectively implement strategic communications programs that will drive impressions.



The role demands a passion for creative storytelling, along with a combination of superior writing, strategic thinking, planning, leadership skills, data analytics reporting, budget management and a track record of flawless execution and delivery, with an exceptional understanding of deploying strong communications programs with multiple stakeholders in mind.



Responsibilities Include :



Supporting and promoting the brand to secure positive media coverage



Developing and executing media relations strategies



Creating internal and external media materials, including key messages, speeches, press kits and news releases



Managing media relations for executives and spokespeople including media training



Planning and executing vehicle launches, auto shows, media drives and other events



Acting as a liaison between communications and other departments like product engineering, planning, and marketing as well as global teams



Work closely with all organizations to identify storytelling opportunities aligned with company and regional objectives, as well as create engaging content



Manage Media Analytics (monthly reports, clip reports, measurable action items, insights)



Manage external vendor and agency partners in developing support plans for a variety of initiatives (press fleet, auction, media drive program, auto show...)

Basic Qualifications :



Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field



Minimum FIVE (5) years of experience in Communications or a similar media or PR field



Excellent understanding of data analytics, providing insights and measuring ROI



Superior writing, storytelling and editing skills, with ability to create stories that engage employees and media



Ability to communicate complex business information into simple, engaging and relevant context



Must be pro-active and performance driven, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment



Uses new technologies to improve internal/external comms and stays on top of latest trends



Can-do attitude and a sense of urgency in a fast paced, communications environment



Ability to prioritize, problem solve and make key decisions



Proven leader with experience in project management -- must be detail oriented and have excellent time management skills



Proven ability to work with people at all levels of the company and maintain confidentiality



Experience developing external Communications programs



Event management and logistics coordination experience



Media relations proficiency in managing and creating relationships with automotive and mainstream media. Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure positive coverage



Legally eligible to work in Canada



Preferred Qualifications :



Previous automotive product experience a plus



Excellent understanding of the Canadian media landscape



Journalism experience



Fluent in French - oral and written
