Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and client-focused
Academic Consultant
with a strong academic background in both K-12 and post-secondary education and exceptional sales skills. In this role, you will work directly with students and their families to understand their educational goals, provide tailored study abroad solutions, and guide them through every stage of the application process. The ideal candidate will combine in-depth knowledge of academic programs, admission requirements, and education pathways with the ability to build trust, inspire confidence, and drive enrollment decisions. You will act as both an advisor and a sales professional -- delivering expert guidance while achieving and exceeding individual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive consultations with students and families to assess academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and study abroad objectives.
Recommend suitable K-12 and post-secondary programs, schools, and education pathways based on individual needs and admission requirements.
Present and promote study abroad options with a consultative sales approach, effectively addressing client questions and concerns to drive enrollment decisions.
Manage the end-to-end application process, including document preparation, submission tracking, interview coaching, and follow-up.
Maintain a high conversion rate from inquiry to enrollment through consistent client engagement and proactive follow-up.
Achieve and exceed individual sales and revenue targets while upholding high standards of client service and satisfaction.
Stay informed about international education trends, policy changes, and admission updates to provide accurate, timely advice.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with students, families, and referral sources to generate repeat and referral business.
Accurately maintain client records and sales activities in the company's CRM system.
Participate in education fairs, information sessions, and other marketing events to generate new leads and strengthen brand presence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher; graduates from top-ranked institutions are strongly preferred.
Minimum 3 yearsof experience in educational consulting and sales
Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
Valid Class 5 driver's license required
