As the Marketing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on holistic marketing campaigns and take ownership of tactical executions for our activity across both the US and Canada! From launching new products with multichannel touchpoints to analyzing competitive performance to gain market share, you will also get a chance to work on exciting, new innovations from our China/Hong Kong product portfolio to help us define the portfolio roadmap to evolve our Brands in 2025 and beyond! The experience of working with us brings a wide range of learning and skill development towards being a brand marketer faced with challenges and opportunities that arise from being a manufacturer of our products.
You will be reporting directly into the Marketing Manager for Vitasoy North America. You will be required to be in our North York office Monday - Fridays when first starting and will eventually transition to a hybrid (in-office and work from home) model based on your manager's discretion after the probation period
What You'll Do
Support the Marketing Manager in the development, execution, and analysis of VNA's Marketing Strategy, pre- and post-evaluations in both the US and Canada markets, ensuring alignment and customizing to in-market consumer needs
Be accountable and take ownership of tactical executions after Branding and Go-To-Market Campaign Strategy sign-off
Manage, liaise, and be the day-to-day contact for our media agency and third-party vendors to ensure flawless execution of media campaigns (digital, social, experiential, sponsorships, influencer) and events
Coordinate US and Canada communication plans working with our media agency and 3rd party vendors, including but not limited to: media planning, asset development/adaptations, in-store Marketing collateral, test & learning on new Digital/Social platforms
Support our Sales Team with all Marketing Material needs across digital, demos, and branded merchandise needs
Assist in building and maintaining an annual marketing calendar, tracking, and reporting on the status of activities
Other job-related duties and responsibilities will be assigned from time to time
Occasional lifting and packing of Marketing samples and materials to ship out to our global counterparts, agencies, and external vendors
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
Occasionally drive and conduct market and competitor audits of our products in Grocery retailers across the GTA
Occasional travel to the US and across Canada for market visits, events, or meetings may be required.
Who You Are
Attention to Detail & Proactive Execution: Implement plans efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and support the Manager in delivering high-quality communication plans.

Creative & Analytical: Combine creativity and strategy, using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva to design compelling mock-ups. Leverage creative assets and data to tell impactful business stories.
Digital Marketing Expertise: Experience managing social media accounts and strong knowledge of digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Rednote (XHS), TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Travel
This position requires up to 30% travel in the first year to familiarize that candidate with the business and will reduce in the second and third year to 20-25%. Travel may include overnight or internationally.
What we're looking for
2+ years of relevant Brand Marketing experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or Business Administration
Valid G driver's license
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the CPG industry
Experience with events, digital marketing, and e-commerce is an asset
Proficiency in monitoring, tracking, and managing marketing budgets
Excellent in MS Office
Experience in conducting competitive and consumer research for the U.S. and Canadian markets
Proficiency in reading and writing Chinese (required)
