The Senior Design Manager is responsible for the entire design management process for complex renovations.


Key responsibilities:



Oversee the comprehensive design management process for intricate renovation projects. Compile detailed scope notes for consultants. Provide expert advice on solutions. Conduct meticulous reviews of drawings to ensure compliance with Walmart's standards. Manage cross-functional partner expectations and project deliverables. Oversee Design Managers' projects. Handle a select number of complex renovations, ensuring all aspects are executed flawlessly.

Qualifications



Education in Architectural Technology or equivalent required Minimum 10 years of design/construction management experience Experience working in an architectural firm or construction management role required Passion for architectural design, attention to detail, and reviewing drawings Willingness to learn and adapt Walmart's prototypical standards to renovation projects Ability to handle multiple projects and manage changes effectively Mentorship skills to guide Design Managers Good understanding of MEP disciplines Relationship builder and team player driven profile
