Summary of Responsibilities
Action customer and internal requests received through multiple channels, managing the process from quote through order fulfillment
Provide accurate, knowledgeable, and timely responses regarding products, pricing, availability, and lead times
Manage orders, review and track back-orders; proactively recommend alternatives when applicable
Resolve issues related to delivery, inventory, and invoicing, including processing returns and replacement orders
Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to understand customer requirements and deliver effective, value-added solutions
Build and sustain trust-based relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent, best-in-class service experience
Collaborate closely with team members, planners, suppliers, and operations to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Skills and Qualifications
2-3 years of procurement, buying, and/or customer service experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
Positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a supportive team culture
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across departments
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach
Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word,
and experience with ERP systems and purchasing software
Comfortable working independently while actively supporting team goals
