The Role:

As Campus Programs Manager within Talent Acquisition, you will lead the national campus recruitment strategy for our Extendicare and ParaMed divisions. You will be a trusted partner to both the business and our external stakeholders by delivering comprehensive campus recruitment solutions. You will manage all school relationships to ensure we are highlighting Extendicare as an employer of choice as well as managing the Ontario grant processes as it relates to our business.

What you bring:

  • Curiosity: Ability to challenge the status quo by researching and analyzing various programs, grants and opportunities, bringing forward best practices that are meaningful for both the business and schools.
  • Relationship Management: Experience in expanding campus engagement and incorporating year-round touchpoints to reinforce brand awareness and visibility by interacting with students regularly and in between open positions.
  • Analytical Thinking: A track record of improving upon the overall effectiveness of programs, initiatives, and activities by introducing reporting and monitoring mechanisms. Track key performance indicators to make strategic recommendations and mitigate risk factors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with regional and home leadership, HR peers and other internal stakeholders to understand priorities, identify accurate campus recruitment requirements, address issues, and implement programs to attract and hire the right talent for Extendicare.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for engaging and hiring top talent from campus by managing the end-to-end campus recruitment strategy.
Your qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years progressive campus talent acquisition experience, preferably in retail, healthcare, hospitality or other high-volume industry.
  • Experience managing and maintaining strong relationships with school contacts.
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative approaches to campus recruiting.
  • Hands-on in day-to-day operations while taking a big-picture solution focused view.
  • Collaborative team player who can manage competing demands and needs of multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Action oriented and ability to deliver results.
  • Initiative and drive.
